Did my boyfriend’s cheating give me chlamydia?
I had unprotected sex with a guy i was dating June 21st. We had protected sex a few times after that at the end of July. So we slept together 4 times total. the last time being August 1st. August 3rd I slept with my now current boyfriend unprotected for our 1st time together. ( i know they’re close together & i dumped the 1st guy August 3rd) I got tested for Chlamydia August 5th and it was negative. Then mid august my current boyfriend and i broke up and he slept with his ex unprotected. Come December i had extreme pelvic pain and find out i had a severe infection in my fallopian tube caused by untreated chlamydia. I have been 100% faithful even during our breakup and did absolutely nothing with anyone else. I told him and he said that my Aug 5th test must have been wrong. I don’t think so, neither does my doc. I got treated December 16th. He didn’t and reinfected me again in January due to a condom break. So my question is, did he contract it from his ex and give it to me or did i get it before my August 5th test where my boyfriend thinks it didn’t show up?
