Even though my ex boyfriend cheated on me I still find myself thinking about him all the time. Is this normal?
We were together for a year…but it was a very intense year…I thought I was going to marry him. It’s been over a year since we broke up (he broke up with me) and then he started dating someone after a month. I have a new boyfriend now who is crazy about me but i’m still thinking about me ex. I know it drives my boyfriend crazy, I don’t mean to upset him. I pretend that I hate my ex and that i’m over him but the truth is as much as he hurt me, a part of me still loves him. To this day I don’t understand how he was able to get over me so fast. I hear through friends he’s going to marry her. What am I doing wrong? Why can’t I seem to forget this guy who almost destroyed me after we broke up. I think about him less & less as the days go on but I find myself comparing ever guy I’ve dated since to him. We live down the street from each other but haven’t seen each other since we broke up. What can I do to get over this guy. Is it a case of closue or am I just living in the past?
