Is my Girlfriend cheating on Me?
Okay, What do you think? I live in San Diego, where most folk here are liberal. Soooo.
anyhow, my girlfriend of 2 years has about FIVE ex boyfriends and 1 ex husband that she still talks to.
She says that they are friends and they all live HOURS away.
Her lAST boyfriend before me……constantly text messages her and calls her. She tells me that they are just friends. She also tells me that there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING romantic between them. My girlfriend is kind of a tomboy in some ways, though not all. Well, I told her that for some reason, I am not comfortable with her talking to him. All the others Okay. But this one, for some reason really bothers me.
I found that there are calls between the two of them for the PAST year. but its all erratic…..they will go two even three weeks without texting or calling. But when they do talk its anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes.
She tells me that he gets lonely and needs to talk. I tell her that "LET HIM GET a NEW GIRLFRIEND to deal with his lonliness"
She has told me for the past 9 months she is NOT talking, e-mailing or even texting him……but recently found 45 text messages between the two. She is very very kind, caring and is an easy target for dogs, cats, strays etc. she tells me that they are just friends and she seems to be very honest and has a really good trust record………..however, she will not stop talking to this guy. when we broke up for ONE week about year and a half ago……..she went out with him…….and he lives five hours away………??? So what do you think. She says it is NOTHING romantic. They broke up because they could’nt stand each other.
But she gets EXTREMEMLY defensive about him and this issue.
Okay, also her mother has said that they never really got along. Friends that knew them….say they Never really got along……..she did’nt talk to him for 1 1/2 years BEFORE she dated me….and we have been together for 1 1/2 years. She is strangely still in contact with all or most of her boyfriends. She is actually very good friends with most of them. She still talks to her ex husband on the phone…….as a friend. I have heard them. so what do you think?
She told me that they had stopped talking…….since early LAST year….but every time I bring up the subject…wow she gets upset. also, This all started because I sat at my computer about 9 months ago and she had left her e-mail open……i read her e-mail to him. That is what started this. We have talked and argued about this for about a year now. I want to trust her……she is or seems very trustworthy….except for this strange issue. Everyone I meet who knew them together tells me that they could’nt stand each other. He makes about 200,000/ a year…could this be a factor?

Defensiveness is a sign of a cheater. When my husbands approached me about my ex whom i talked to online maybe oncew a month a hi how are you at most. I understood it looked wrong allowed him to look at every thing i had not deleted (which had been months of stuff maybe 1/2page) and I told him I never see him and probably will never again see him, Theres nothing between us left at all and if you want I can just cut off contact no big. And he said he would feel better if I would. So I did. And it was no big deal because thats how it should be.
I dont have a good feeling from what your writing shes keeping him as back up or cant choose between the two either way in a non controling way you should let her know how unethical and unkind this situation is to you and she should make a choice.
If she doesnt choose she chooses him. So you would be better off with a woman who can choose you and love you and not cheat on you.
(this is my opinion on the matter i am not a marriage counseler or anything but I do study human social behavior (sociology) in college)

honestly bro, its sounds like she still has feelings for this other guy, and most the time if you feel like she is cheating…she really is cheating.. but if shes not you need to break that connection between them otherwise your gonna come home with him banging her on your side of the bed…also try contacting cheaters the tv show
oh man– red flag right there. ask her whats going on. you told her you weren’t comfortable with it and she went ahead and did it anyway! just because theyre hours away doesnt mean they still cant flirt. after all, she is going behind your back.
