How do you get over your husband cheating on you?
I currently went out of town to visit family an I found out when I got back that my husband had been spending time with another woman when I was gone. How does anyone get over something like that an how do you learn to trust him again. An if he tells you that he wants you there but he doesnt need you what would you all suggest that I do? He said that he did sleep with this woman but he didnt cheat what is the difference an how do I get over this constant worrying can someone please help?

You can sleep next to a person with there being sex. If he want you but does not need you… it is like when I was on dating sites, I said I want someone to share in my life because I want them not because I need them. It is like saying they make your life better, in this day and age it is hard to say you totally need someone… most of us have an independent side. My problem was I found a man who I now need because our love is so strong I need his love each day.

WOW!! This is going to be very hard for u to get over. It’s hard for u to believe that nothing went on because u were not there and you don’t know. You need to sit him down and the 2 of u have a LONG talk about why he did this. Let him know how u feel and how you are thinking. He needs to know! Trust may be something very hard for u to do for a while because of how this went down. It may go as far as you 2 needing counseling for this. Pray and ask God to lead u in the right direction. U are going to know if he wants to really be with u by how he treats u now that you know about his affair. Good Luck!
Wow, that would take alot to just "get over it". There is no difference between sleeping with the woman or cheating with her. It’s not even alright that he has been hanging out with her. What a horrible woman and he was unfaithful to you. If you don’t go get some marriage intervention, it’s like you are condoning it. Go to your church or a marriage counselor & make him go with you. If he doesn’t straighten out-it will continue. Good luck and very sorry for you. You should be able to go visit family without that kind of garbage going on.
