My boyfriend cheated on me with this ugly guy?
I’m 26 and i’ve been with my boyfriend for 3 years. I thought our relationship was going great until his best friend told me he was cheating on me. I found my boyfriends cellphone the other night and saw some text messages from this guy and I also found his phone number. I called the dude up to ask him a few questions and sure enough my boyfriend is messing with him. I then asked if we could meet for lunch or something so we can talk about this but I just wanted to see how he looked and I was very shocked. The whole time I was thinking if he was going to cheat at least find someone who looks as good as me or better.
My boyfriend and I have two houses in our names and also 5 cars. How should I go about breaking up with my boyfriend when all of this stuff is in both of our names? etc

Dude I would be civil about it all the worst thing you could do is get mad and argue yell and fight then it gets to be a big drawn out thing. Get a divorce lawyer that could give you advise on what you need to do or have him take care of it all. If you live in a community property state he would check the laws on how long you have to be toghether to get half of everything. You would be like those M/F couples that have lived together but never married. Have the other guy over for dinner be nice and civial and tell him that you have a lawyer to seporate all of your assets and end it.

i’m sorry your boyfriend is a total a$$wipe….you definitely deserve better. as for the assets, you should never have gotten things in both your names. i think your going to have to see a lawyer and divide the assets.

I think you’ll find that your in the same mess as alot of people who get "divorced"…you don’t have the money to pay all those freaking lawyers…
sometimes it is just better to "stay" together for sake of the assests….
perhaps you should consider letting him do his thing and you doing yours….live together yet live seperate in the same house ect….
for I seriously doubt either of you have the $$$ to buy the other one out and noone can really sell a house in this market..you’d lose your shirt

The dude is not as good looking as you, so it’s probably just one of those "flings" and he’s not in love with him. I’d be more pissed if the dude was better looking that me! wow your actually worried about how the guy looks?.. so if the guy was better looking than you would you just let it slide? wow… and easy just let him give you half the things and you go your seperate ways.. or just be friends but half the things is yours and half the things is his. YOU get 1 house and 2 houses. HE gets 1 house and 2 cars and you guys can maybe share the last car
