I cheated on my girlfriend and now she’s mad at me. Should I break up with her?
I don’t understand it. She talks to other guys while I’m around her at times and she knows that I hate that. So, I took it upon myself to go out on a date with this chick that I met because I was so upset with her for talking to this guy I really dislike. Problem is that one of her many friends saw me at the movie theater with my date and ratted me out. I don’t see a problem with anything I did and don’t understand why she is upset. I’m thinking about breaking up with her since there are other girls who will actually appreciate me and I can get any girl I want basically anyways.

Not being funny, but just because she does it doesn’t make it right for you to do it also. I’m not saying what she does is correct, but at the same time it’s not like she’s obviously cheated, she just talks to other boys who are probably friends, and you can’t stop her from having friends. If you don’t really trust her, and she obviously doesn’t trust you because you cheated is it really a good relationship? Relationships are meant to be built on trust.
& ‘I cant get any girl I want basically anways’ isn’t really the best thing to say. If you really liked her, you wouldn’t have cheated and you wouldn’t say that. I hope you figure out what you want, and you find someone who will treat you with respect, and the same in return

Your post is full of contradictions. If you don’t see anything wrong with what you did, then why do you say that her friends "ratted you out"? You should proudly own your behavior if there is nothing wrong with it. Instead you are pretending that it is the same thing to "date" someone, as you did, as compared to "talking" to someone, as she did. You are pretending not to know what you did, and looking for us to justify what you want to do anyway.
The simple fact is that you KNOW you are being immature. You did what you did as payback, and now you are trying to act innocent and like it is perfectly fine.
You should both break up with each other. You are both too immature to have a relationship with anybody.
Well, sorry to break the truth to ya, but all girls talk… -_- That doesn’t mean they are cheating or anything. Hey write the word assume on a sheet of paper. Draw a line seperating the letters like this : ass|u|me. Ok the point is, when you assume things, you make an ass out of you and me. (Not me in particular but the person in the situation.) This is going to keep on happening unless you can trust the girl you are with. If you can’t trust them, don’t go out with them then break up with them 2 days later. This just causes problems. If you cheated on her she should kick you to the curb, there are no exceptions. If you can’t handle her TALKING to another guy, not cheating but talking, you have serious issues. Obviously you think those other guys are better than you if you are that jealous.
