is my ex-boyfriend really obsessed with me?!?
okay well me and my boyfriend broke up about 3 days ago but he tells me he wants me back and he still loves and cares about me. he wants to be with me forever and marry me and have beautiful children with me! he also even said he blew up a ballon and wrote ‘i love Megan’ on it and watched float away in the sky!!! he also said he wrote our names on a bunch of pieces of paper and stuck them all over his room! and last night i just recently got a new boyfriend and i told my ex about it and told him that he couldnt be walking me to my classes at school anymore (which has been doing since we broke up and even did it today!!) and he was hugging me and holding my hand and he even tried to kiss me!!! but i backed away because i dont want to be cheating on my boyfriend which goes to a different school than me, but my ex is really starting to scare me now and my mom adn my best-friend Diana have both told me they think he is obsessed with me!! so what do i do! cuz i dont want to tell him to stop walking me to my classes and stuff because it will hurt his feelings. 
but i know its not a good idea if he continues to do it because if he does then it will cause me to want to hug and kiss him but i cant do that because i already have another boyfrined!!! i also dont want to break up with my new boyfriend because we just started going out yesterday! i mean i still really love my ex, but more like a brother or a cousin, not like a husd=band or anything like he thinks!? so what am i suppose to do!? i really love my ex and i do want to be with him but i want to try to move on and try to make it work with this new guy too!

Well, you may want to consider that your new relationship was a little fast. The fact that you broke up with your ex whom you "loved" so recently and are still having issues resolving that relationship probably means you could have taken your time a bit more with the new guy. But, what is done is done, so you are in this new relationship.
You definitely need to exhibit a little tough love you on your ex. It may hurt his feelings when you don’t want him walking you to class or trying to hug and kiss you, but you don’t need to constantly be put in a situation where cheating is a viable option. Relationships are hard enough without adding to it.
If you don’t want to be with your ex anymore and you truly want things to work with your new boyfriend then don’t encourage your ex by allowing him to walk you to class. Your willingness to have him walk you to class (even if you are more forced than willing) gives your ex all the encouragement he needs to hold on to the relationship you once had.
Be firm but kind and just explain the facts. If you use a little tact and approach the situation in a professional manner he will realize that the personal relationship is over and no longer an option. Even if he is obsessed with you, that should get the message through.
But do not let his obsessive behavior continue without repose! Make sure you are clear that those kind of words and actions are not acceptable. Also, be sure to protect yourself if things get out of hand. School counselors are a great resource for dealing with situations like you have described. They can be extremely beneficial if this "obsession" turns ugly.

The same thing happened to me. I had to get the principal involved. Because he started following me. If you dont want to be with your ex tell him that you just want to be friends. If he still doesn’t lissen you might need to get someone involved. Because you never know what may happen.
