What mental disorder has these symptoms?
Hallucinations: "Shadow people" or seeing… I don’t know how to describe it other than "sparklie spiders". And hearing people whisper your name.
Paranoia: Always thinking people are going to hurt me.. Only emotionally, though. Like thinking my husband is going to cheat on me and leave me… or just leave me. And always thinking people are talking about me… And thinking people know what I’m thinking…
Anger: Getting angry and stupid things that shouldn’t even matter.
And no.. I don’t use drugs. I am a mother and I have dropped many of my old friends because they are using and I don’t want those kind of people around my daughter. That’s for the dicks that will answer "Sounds like your having withdrawls" because that seems to be a common answer for any mental disorder question.
And I am going to see a Dr. as soon as I can find a place around where I live that takes our insurance. I have already made up my mind to see a Dr.
AND LoL this has been going on for YEARS. It’s just gotten worse over time. At first it was only I was VERY irritable.. but now.. I still have that but these other symptoms have stated happening. All in all, these other things have started in the past 4 years.
I am 21. And mental disorder runs in my family. My dad killed himself when I was 2 so I think it’s safe to say depression is one of them. Then there is my mother… I don’t think she’s ever gone to a doctor about her problems but she’s…. out there… And there are other people in my family but not getting in to it.

What concerns me the most is the hallucinations and the paranoia (despite it being an emotional only paranoia). GENERALLY, hallucinations and paranoia can be a ‘prodrome’ to a psychosis, although not necessarily always the case. There are certain conditions that can cause such experiences, including:
Metabolic
-organ failure
-hypoxia
-hypoglycemia
-vitamin deficiency
-endocrinopathy (i.e. hyperthyroidism)
-fluid/electrolyte imbalance
-porphyria
Drug/alcohol intoxication (not in your case, reportedly)
Infections
Epilepsy
Head Injury
Vascular Diseases
Intracranial Tumor
Cerebral Degenerative Diseases
-dementia
-multiple sclerosis
-Huntington’s chorea
-Parkinson’s disease
Only will a medical evaluation rule out these conditions.
How old are you? Women have a bi-modal age period for the development of Schizophrenia. Is there any mental illness within your family (esp. immediate family members)?
you need to see a dr. schizophrenia has these symptoms and could be very dangerous. for you childrens saftey call a dr
sounds like scitzophrenia would fit your symptoms. i hope you dont have it though because its not a fun mental illness to have at all.you might be too old to get it though if you have a kid already. Woman usually get it in their early 20’s.
Unfortunately you’ve just described symptoms of a dozen different disorders, each with vastly different treatments. Self diagnosis is never the best option when it comes to your health.
Try going to see a doctor and explain everything you’re feeling as fully as you can.
schizophrenia has hallucinations where u see people that aren’t there, they can talk to u and everything (see the movie "a beautiful mind" about that) and this illness can be very dangerous because these people sometimes do things that the voices or people tell them to do which can be a very strange.
a hormone imbalance should explain the anger and or mood swings
and if it’s really botherin u, then u should tell ur doctor about it
Those symptoms can be caused by several different mental disorders. Anything from mild schizophrenia, bipolar, clinical depression, certain personality disorders, or even too much stress can cause those symptoms.
But Drs usually treat the symptoms first rather than worry about the exact label. I would suggest seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist so you can get treatment.
im debating between borderline personality disorder and schitzophrenia
