I am afraid my husband has lost interest in our marriage.?
We have been married near 9 years now and he really does not care to be intimate (in the bedroom) anymore. I read that sometimes this may be a sign of infidelity. I really don’t have any evidence that he is cheating though he had been working longer hours. He always claims to be too tired. One of my friends told me that it may be a sign that he has became gay but I know that is out of the question. I tried to get him to talk about it but he refused. Any suggestions. Thanks.

the "too tired" is almost always an excuse here. Somethings up. Trust me, i m a man and sex relieves stress. So even if he is "tired", he should be dying to ***** (mind). I think somethings up but dont take anyones advice here. You got more info, info which is instict and which u cant explain here. What does ur gut tells u? Listen to urself and only urself. Friends will f**k it up whilst trying to help. No one knows him better than u do. Not even he himself.
Some men can be tricky. A lot of people jump to infidelity right off the back cus it makes the most sense. Yet that is not always the case. It could be a number of things, he could be depressed, stressed or even just not in love anymore(worse case) but you need to just tell him how you feel. He needs to understand how you feel even if he doesn’t share.
Then after you’ve said your peace to him. Start doing things that make you happy. Workout, change your hair, or whatever will make you feel better.
Then see if he notices or if anything has changed if not move to the next step "counseling" let him know that you can’t go on living like this and if he doesn’t try to change then you need to decide if you want to be there.
I know its not what you want to hear but there is no magic answer that anyone could give you. He is the only one who will ease your pain. Make sure you remember that.
I’ve been married for 5 years. Yeah, I admit, guilty as charged, sex life really slowed down, mostly being my fault.
I still love my wife, I’d NEVER cheat on her, I’m still attracted sexually to her, so you may ask… why have I stopped?
Well, first of all, yeah, I’m a bit tired from work. But that’s not all of it.
She kind of stopped provoking me and sex turned out a bit boring. I’m sorry, I can’t get in the mood if we do it the same day, at pretty much the same hour and in the same way. It’s starting to look like some kind of appointment.
And second… why does she expect me to get into the mood all by myself? All I need is for someone to "start" me up a little bit… Then, no worries, I know how to turn on the fire for both of us.
Or at least tell me you need it, but, hell, don’t make it sound like I’m being accused of not doing my duty. This ain’t work, and frankly, you sound like I’m on some kind of deadline.

I went through the same a few years back and after counseling and the whole nine yards he was arrested soliciting sex in a men’s restroom. My whole family was shocked, he’s not even Republican. To make a long story short we divorced and last I heard he was in Key West.
he might have just lost the sex drive. i have been married for 13 years and my wife (who I know would never cheat) has no sex drive. I hardly get any sex any more and when it does happen i have to initiate and she makes it seem like a big chore….i hope that helps.
