Could I have gotten genitel herpes from a past relationship over 2 years ago and not know it???
I just went to the doctors today and she told me that I now have herpes.Im really sad and scared.I guess you can say I might be in denial on who gave it to me.I’ve been married to my husband for over 2 years now and I have not had any other sexual relations since we got married.He is deployed in Iraq and came back for his R&R and of course we had sex without condoms.He just left 5 days ago and he’s on his way back to Iraq.The doc is implying that my husband cheated and I got it from him.Could I have gotten it from a past relationship over 2 years ago and only have symptoms now?? When my hubby was here he asked if I cheated alot of times and I told him NO every time.When I asked him if he cheated he said NO also.I never even thought it would be herpes and I never thought he would do this, if he did.
What if he denies it and then accuses me?? We have 2 kids together and I really don’t know what to do now.What if he says he doesn’t even have it.What if he doesn’t have it??

YES! There is a possibility that you could have had genitel herpes years before you got married.
I am very sorry that you and your hubby have to go threw this. I personaly believe that it is wise to first get all the facts straight before you start jumping to conclusions. This should work it self out. Don’t be upset in front of the babies because it will put stress on them. everything should be allright, okay. Take it easy, work together on this! I know it’s hard, this is just one of those obsticles you and your husband will face. Be patient and understanding towards each other. After all you do love each other very much!!!!!

The first outbreak usually occurs within two weeks after the virus is transmitted, and the sores typically heal within two to four weeks. Other signs and symptoms during the primary episode may include a second crop of sores, and flu-like symptoms, including fever and swollen glands. However, most individuals with HSV-2 infection never have sores, or they have very mild signs that they do not even notice or that they mistake for insect bites or another skin condition.
People diagnosed with a first episode of genital herpes can expect to have several (typically four or five) outbreaks (symptomatic recurrences) within a year. Over time these recurrences usually decrease in frequency. It is possible that a person becomes aware of the “first episode” years after the infection is acquired.
I think he cheated and he knows he has herpes and he is trying to sus if he can blame them on you (if you cheated).
Not sure (medically) if you may have contracted it over two years ago and it lay dormant all that time… Ask you doctor.
I think its more likely your husband has been unfaithful.

I am really sorry but the gestation period is 2-14 days, so it does seem likely that you have picked up the infection from your husband.
It’s quite possible, as a lot of people go a long time between outbreaks, and sometimes have such minor outbreaks that they’re unaware they’re even having one.
But I do suspect he’s cheating, still, but for a different reason.
He asked you, repeatedly, without cause for suspicion, if you had cheated on him. Often, a cheater who is feeling guilty will also feel suspicious about his or her mate.

…GET a LAWYER and prepare the prepare the paper work for a divorce…
…seek child support, alimony and a restraining order…
