If two people were friends first, began an emotional affair and eventually intimacy. Both really feel in love, have separated from their spouses six months ago because of the affair and chose to remain living this way as they cannot deny their feelings for each other and the connection that exists.Their spouses still want to save their marriage. Anything is possible but the likelihood is very low.
Them not divorcing after so long is suspicious and makes that chance even lower.
After two years, you would think they would have made a decision by now.
Some affairs do grow into relationships, others are disasters. No way to predict the future.

I believe that the marriage can and should be saved. We all fall short and make mistakes (sin). Marriage was designed by God to stay together for life. We need to go back to his instructions and learn to love the way he loves. Unselfishly! Marriage is about giving yourself to the person you vowed to love. Love is not a tingling feeling, it is a choice. Too many people stray when the feeling subsides. They go where they can get that tingle again. The truth is that it will subside again with the new person. God has the answer.

well i think if you are married and cheat and get with that person the only reason the passion is so deep is because its something you cant really have and once you leave the marriage this relationship has a very slim chance of working it wasnt based on truth and loyalty it was based on creeping around and lies mayb not to each other but as they say if he will do it with you he will do it to you. so the chances are very slim!!!!!
