I think I may have a problem. I worry about any and everything. I don't know what to do. What's wrong with me?
For the past several months I have really not been myself. I worry excessively about everything. I worry that I have cancer or a disease. Everytime I get in a car I worry about having a car accident. Anytime I get an ache or pain I worry that it is actually a symptom of a larger problem like something is wrong with me. I worry a lot about death, about my children dying or my husband. I will constantly worry that my husband is lying to me or cheating or planning on leaving me (He has never done anything to justify this, btw) I feel like I can’t trust anybody. If we have guests in the house I worry about leaving my children alone in the same room with them. I have started waking up in the middle of the night to make sure my children are breathing. I have been unable to sleep. I thought I had post partum depression but my youngest just turned 1. I think it’s a little late for that. All this worry is starting to control my life. There are days where I snap or am moody b/c of it. Any ideas?
Thanks everyone, I looked up ocd and found out I have several of the characteristics. I don’t have insurance, and I’m not sure hoe to go about finding a therapist I don’t even have a personal doctor. (I’m also too afraid to go to the doctor because I’m terrified they will find something wrong with me) Ah.. this is hard.

Speaking from experience I can say a person cannot live productively with that level of anxiety. It can be caused by many things and a trained professional can help you find the causes and solutions. The important thing (as so many have said) is to get help immediately.
There are private organizations and/or government agencies that can help direct you to the help you need regardless of your financial situation. Support groups can also offer coping skills that may help.
Say a prayer; Know that you are not alone; Have faith that you will get better.
Wishing you Peace and much Love.
Make an appointment with a female doctor who specializes in obgyn.
You mostly like have an anxiety disorder, or maybe obsessive complulsive disorder. Go see a therapist. I knopw that tjhis can be scary but a therpaist can determine what exaclt you have, then prescribe medications or things you can do to reduce your anxiety. I hope this helps!

it sounds like an ocd…i think the best idea would be to get help, the longer you leave it the worse it gets, i use to be like this when i was extremely young, every night all the people i love would die in my dreams, like not a proper dream just seeing tons of people i loved dying, especially my mum, i use to wake up look at her and be so so happy that she is their, and for some reason i was more scared of being in my house than anywhere else :/ but it shows that you can get over it..good luck xxxx
sounds like you have some anxiety issues, but you should probably talk with your doctor about finding a psychiatrist or therapist to help you. anxiety issues are pretty common and they can be treated.
