Question for women…bleeding during sex, discharge?
Yesterday I started bleeding heavily during sex. It startled me as I had just finished my period a few days earlier. It was not painful during intercourse, we didn’t even realize until we were done. The bleeding stopped shortly after. Now I have a yellow-greenish discharge which is making me worry. It doesn’t smell but it does itch a little. I have made an appointment with my OBGYN but the earliest they can get me in over a week away.
To ease my mind I looked symptoms up on the internet and most causes point to STD’s. I’ve only had sex with my husband. I was a virgin when I met him. He has had more partners than me and a few long term relationships where the woman was on the pill. I was worried about STD’s and told him but he didn’t seem to think it was a problem. We have always used condoms but now have started to try to have a baby about a month ago. I truly believe that he hasn’t cheated on me. Is it possible for him to carry something for years and not know? Thanks.

Yeah ita is possible to carry a disease for years and not have regular symptoms. You seem very smart and I suggest to find a way to tell your husband to get tested just as you will when you go to the doc. Best of luck and hope you conceive with no problems!

Yes it is, I would get him checked for STD’s also. it will make the situation a little more sensitive but you need to know.
First, you should BOTH be checked for STD’s. Second, stop trying to get pregnant until you know what’s going on for sure. It could be harmful to your unborn child if you have an STD, get pregnant, and then cannot be treated. Deal with the problem first, then try to have a baby. A few weeks/months can save you and your baby a lot of problems. Good luck.
Sounds like Trichomoniasis, because of the green/yellow discharge…there’s comtimes a smell associated with it, not always though… BUT can be a simple vaginosis as well.. I’d get it checked out for sure. The bleeding maybe be hormonal… from adjusting going off the pill… But with the combo, I’d get to the Dr ASAP.

You can have Std’s and not have symptoms for years. it’s even possible to never have symptoms. I would recommend going to the doctor ASAP
