My girlfriend constantly dreams she is cheating on me, should I be concerned?
My gf always has dreams that she cheats on me, but she has no problem telling me about these dreams. A guy would do things to her and she would allow it (in her dream). She told me that while asleep, she knows that what’s going on IS a dream and tries to get herself to stop, but the dream continues regardless. She wakes up sweaty and crying. She’s had these types of dreams multiple times with different guys in her dreams.
I wonder if it has anything to do with her being unclear about her sexuality. We are both girls. I am a lesbian but she isn’t. She is not lesbian, bi, or whatever. There’s just no label for her. She has told me that I’m the only girl she has ever liked or ever will like. This took me some getting used too, but I think I’m 85% comfortable with her being this way. This has never been a problem for her (but it has been for me).
I am just wondering what her dreams mean! She’s been having these dreams for months, but despite that I trust that she won’t be unfaithful. We actually have a very solid and serious relationship and she has never given any implications of wanting to be with a man, so this just has me curious about why she would dream about these things..
note: she is not getting "satisfaction" from these dreams, she practically hates herself for even having them
like i said, we have a SOLID relationship and apart from being in a romantic relationship - we are actually the best of friends
i have contemplated about whether she might be truly interested in guys, and if that becomes her choice in the future then that’s something i’ll just have to deal with, but as of now we are together
don’t worry, the sex is abundant. she gets all the attention she needs..

You are kidding yourself if you think that you have a solid relationship. Someone who is getting satisfaction from some other person is not going to stay with you. It isn’t a matter of sexuality, it is a matter of desire. You just happen to be a convenient outlet for her desires presently. That will change.
Also, you may claim to be a lesbian but I’ve never seen lesbian dreams that show them as being in anything other than a ‘weird habit’ or similar dress or situation. You have given in to your desires, not the guidance your dreams provide.
Maybe its because she actually likes guys? She may not be cheating on you, but if she isn’t bi, lesbian, or whatever than she likes guys even if she doesn’t say it or even if she doesn’t even think she does.

Don’t worry about it. I mean, be concerned but it’s not like it’s her desire. I think your fine. Just be little concious of her and your relationship with her. I’m sure you have more to offer then any guys and I’m sure that’s why she’s with u. so just show what you have to offer and support her in every possible way and hopefully her dreams might fade away!
