I had asked a previous question and some answers provoked some thoughts in me. If I "spy" on my soon-to-be-ex-spouse and do find out that he is cheating, can I get legal action with abandonment and what is it exactly and what does it do?

I also like to note that our problems arose after he was formerly discharged from the military (Jan 21st I think of this year). I heard that while in the military cheating on your spouse is a huge no-no and you can pay heavy reprisals for it. I wanted to know if the same weight is given to veterans.

If anything…I really wish for both a legal and religious annulment (my religious annulment is almost guaranteed because of lack of form). But I also want legal annulment because somehow the word "divorce" implicates that I too had done something wrong to make the relationship go sour…
