Well, I have this feeling that my husband isn’t being quite honest with me. I really don’t think it’s another woman. Something else. But I don’t know what. Maybe drugs or a gambling problem, or being somewhere or being friends with people he knows would upset me. Just something is not right. Heck for all I know he could secretly be planning to join a Monastery. I doubt it, but it’s along those lines. Definitely not cheating. I know him well enough to know that, on the same hand I know him enough that something is "off". What should I do? I don’t want to be one of those people that spy or stalk a spouse and make them give up their personal freedom simply because I’m feeling something. But, I just know in my heart of hearts something is up. And there have been clues, which I don’t feel need to be discussed, that somewhat support my feelings. We’ve been together for thirty years, so I really don’t need answers from someone who does not understand what a lifetime commitment is. To put it more bluntly, teenagers that know everything but forgot it all.
Of course, I have talked to him. It leads no where. I thought that went without saying.
