How do you get a cheating spouse to stop cheating?
A co-worker / friend of mine has a wife that is at least emotionally involved with another man (I don’t really now the extent of the relationship just what he has told me). He says he really doesn’t want a divorce, because he still loves her very much. He asked me this question on the way to work this morning and I told him I would have to think about it. I cant think of anything to say so any honest suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

He needs to separate himself from her for his own sanity. I know people "think" they are in love, but what kind of love is it when it is only one-sided. If she loved him as much as her, she wouldnt be doing this.
Maybe if he left her, she would either be "whatever" or maybe she would realized what she had and then try to fix things.
I just been through a lot of cheaters and If I cant trust them, I need to be separated. I want to know when that person walks out the door, they are not coming back with STD’s and lies.
Its not right. As bad as he thinks it is love, It isnt. She sounds like she is a lil messed up, and he needs to get someone that is committed 100%!

You can’t stop her from cheating…she has to make a conscious decision to work things out with her husband. If she is emotionally involved with this other man then she feels that she is missing something from her own marriage. The only problem is that until she gets rid of him, she cannot focus her attention on working on her marriage. My brother did this. When he finally kicked her to the curb, he was able to work things out with his wife and actually found a new appreciation for her. Even though it is wrong, I believe that they could work it out if SHE wanted to. Good Luck

She has to want to end the affair and has to beg for forgiveness and want to make her marriage work.

You file for divorce and leave them and their f*ck buddy without a pot to piss in.

Many, if not most, women cheat because they feel emotionally alone in a relationship and are looking for a connection. Therefore your friend should try to make a connection with his wife, if it is not too late.
Learning the reason for the affair is important if he wants to stop the affair.
I would email the emotionally involved new guy with this bad a$$ picture of you and say leave her alone or your cruisen for a bruisen!

It’s amazing how FAST people on here say divorce. It makes me sick. They are just weak minded fools. Yes divorce may be in the future but it may not. I would find out the reason first but I wouldn’t take any $hit either. There could be a reason behind it that they can work out. Either way I may still have to pay Mr. emotional a little visit.
