Have you caught someone cheating or have you been caught cheating?
…because of incriminating text messages on a cell phone? It never ceases to amaze me how many people get caught like this. Why do people keep stuff like that around? And just reading this site, it’s not just one or two messages the spouse finds…it’s usually a hundred or so.

I caught my ex-fiance through text messages. He hadn’t even bothered to delete them, but I wasn’t in a habit of going through his phone so the thought probably never crossed his mind. I really felt guilt about doing it before hand and almost didn’t. I’d been having a feeling he was up to no good, but couldn’t prove anything. I reasoned with myself if I found nothing then I could stop acting crazy. He was talking to several women and even had the audacity to tell a few of them he loved them.
Later, after breaking up, we tried again, but I noticed after that he got in the habit of deleting his messages. In the end, I knew he’d never stop, so I left. Thank God, I dodged that bullet.
Yes, I have. Texting, Facebook and MySpace didn’t have anything to do with it either.
I have never cheated but every girlfreind I have ever had has thought I had

Oh yes, but he was on the phone not txting. The phone records showed the amount of txting and calls as once he realised I was onto him he deleted everything. People are so stupid they honestly don’t think they will get caught so they don’t bother to delete things. It amazes me that they have so much trust for their spouse that they don’t think their spouse will check on them but then they can go and do the most hurtful cruel things and throw away every bit of trust someone has in them.
its because women just have to talk they just love to talk with you and all you are doing is having an affair with them but they have to try to make it seem like its real to themselves to convince themselves to do it. All it is is good hot sex and if you just met up and did the deed then went back to your lives there wouldn’t be all this texting and emails and calls and stuff
It’s not that I’ve cheated, but I’ve looked for somebody ’cause my partner was not gvin’ me what I wanted. Gotta tell ya, I didn’t find what I wanted either.
We all are in search of something better, i think it’s human nature, it’s very difficult to be content.

Ha, don’t put me out of work. This is a better question for Harry Belefonte, marriage psychic, but yes, I caught the old lady that way. Not through the messages but through the volume of calls on the cell bill.
People just need to be more disciplined if they hope to pull off an affair. Limit it to emails (secret account) and quick calls on landlines to make arrangements ("Meet me at the usual place at noon," for example), and they need to maintain their same personality at home — including giving the spouse sex.
Rule No. 1 — do not fall in love with the affair partner.
