It is not an invasion of privacy. When they set up cameras in the home, etc., the person that is doing the cheating is not on the title of the house. Therefore, it is not the person’s house. Secondly, when they are caught out in PUBLIC, no one has the expectation of privacy.
Oh I totally think it violates the right to privacy.. even though they are cheating scum, they still don’t deserve to have their face plastered on public tv.. but I am pretty sure the show has to get consent to have the footage shown. Like you can’t just go out and film someone and put it on tv, they have to allow you to use the footage. So I think it is all staged for the drama.
hey yeah! really.
I saw this once or twice and thought, it was unbelievable. Thought people had to have permission to use that kind of thing , pictures and filming for tv . Is this still on? I haven’t watched tv in over a year.
KW , ahh ha! so thats it! thank you.
Generally, your right to privacy is a protection against government intrusion. The Fourth Amendment is a major part of that protection.
In public (such as the parking lots in which the "cheaters" are accosted on camera), there is no right to privacy. See YouTube for a few million examples.
There are a few adults so clueless that they are in a relationship and do not know much about their partner, but such are the risks of going into a relationship without a lot of information.
