what are the signs your boyfriend is cheating or seeing another woman?
My boyfriend locks his phone with a password now because he knows I dont trust him because he has lied to me a lot recently and I found out he was talking to another girl. He said they were just friends and would talk about " life and stuff". He didnt tell her he was taken or that he lived with me. He says he locks his phone so that I can learn to trust him because I always check his phone and find new lies, like him going out with his friends.

How is locking his phone going to help you trust him?
The only thing that would is telling the truth and be more open.Locking hte phone is actually achieving the opposite. He is clearly indicating he cannot be trusted as there are things you are not allowed to see.
Having said all that. You should not be snooping his phone. He should be able to trust you and he can’t. Besides if you have found him lying you also should look at your role int he matter. Why is he lying. Is it something he does naturally or is he trying to avoid a fight with you? If it si the first then there is a real issue, Is it the second then you have to get over the fight response when he does something you do not approve of and start communicating.
What I read here is is a clear example of miscommunication on both sides. That is the issue really, The phone, the lying they are merely symptoms of the the lack of true communication, boundaries and trust on both sides
i have been through a situation similar to this
one and i can tell you that i think the best thing you
can do it just let it go.
don’t get mad about him locking his phone or
going out or whatever.
it is gonna be hard as heck to pretend like you
are happy and okay but most guys cheat because they
are unhappy in their relationship but if you just
act like you are okay he will hopefully see that
you are okay with it and when you are happy it makes your
man want to be around you more.
usually, guys hate conflict and fighting, especially with
their girls, so if you are always bickering him about
his phone and everything, he is just gonna want to get
further away from you and closer to another girl that he can
spend his time with and not listen to her complain.

You know what they say about trust? Trust is giving up on trying to understand someone and you leave it to faith. If he locks his phone because you don’t trust him, that doesn’t give you any more reason to trust him. He’s being secretive, which again doesn’t give you any more reason to trust him. If he has nothing to hide, he wouldn’t try to hide it.
